Recognition
Snap Wilds uses a bundled local model to suggest selected supported species on your device. It is a suggestion and can be wrong. When the model is uncertain or does not support the species, choose the animal manually.
Keep exploring.
Clear notes for the moments when a recognition, collection entry or map detail needs a little untangling.
▦
Collection
Your field journal counts saved catches. Camera and photo-library discoveries both count. Free allows one successful saved scan per day; failed attempts do not use that limit. Premium allows unlimited successful saved scans and unlocks available field notes and photo tips.
⌖
Map and location
Location is optional. If you allow it for a catch, Snap Wilds can attach the current GPS coordinate to that local journal entry and show it in the Map. Recognition does not require location.
Premium plans
Premium is available through Apple as eligible weekly, yearly and lifetime plans. The yearly plan can include a three-day free trial only when Apple shows that exact introductory offer and confirms your eligibility. The App Store shows the current price, renewal period and terms.
Premium includes unlimited successful saved scans plus the field notes and photo tips available in the current release.
