Collage Easy Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 15, 2026
Overview
This notice covers the Collage Easy app and the website at collageeasy.app. Most editing features run locally on your device. It explains what may be processed when you use the app, optional AI editing, subscriptions, website delivery, analytics, export, and sharing features.
Controller and contact
The controller is Damian Witkowski, Rüttenscheider Str. 323, 45131 Essen, Germany. Email: d.witko@icloud.com.
Photos and user content
Photos you choose from your library are used to create and edit your collage. Standard editing tools such as layouts, filters, text, stickers, frame colors and export are processed on your device. Your photos, written overlay text and sticker content are not sent to Mixpanel.
AI image editing
If you use AI image editing, the selected image and your prompt are sent to the configured AI processing service so the requested edit can be generated. The app may include request metadata such as app version, request ID, installation ID, input size, selected model policy and usage-limit information to operate the service, prevent abuse and control costs.
Analytics
If you allow analytics, Collage Easy sends anonymous product usage events to Mixpanel using the EU endpoint. These events help understand feature usage, onboarding, editor actions, AI edit outcomes, paywall flow, exports, shares and saves. Photos, prompt text, written overlay text and image payloads are not sent to Mixpanel. You can change analytics consent in the app settings.
Website delivery and privacy-first measurement
When you visit collageeasy.app, hosting and content-delivery providers process technical request data needed to deliver and secure the website. This can include IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser and device information, and security signals. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in reliable and secure delivery under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate page performance and visits. Cloudflare states that this service does not collect or use visitors’ personal data, does not track individual visitors across websites, and does not require cookies. The website does not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or optional analytics cookies. For that reason, no consent banner is shown. See Cloudflare Web Analytics information.
If optional tracking is added in the future, it will remain disabled until any consent required by applicable law is obtained, and this notice will be updated.
Purchases and subscriptions
Subscription purchase status is handled by Apple through the App Store and by RevenueCat for entitlement management. Collage Easy does not receive your payment card details. Apple manages subscription renewals, cancellations and refunds through your Apple ID.
Local data
The app may store local preferences on your device, including onboarding state, editing limits, analytics consent, subscription entitlement state, selected editor settings and cached creative state needed for the app to function.
Sharing and export
When you export, save or share a collage, the generated image is passed to iOS sharing or Photos features at your request. The destination service you choose may process the image according to its own privacy practices.
Tracking and advertising
Collage Easy does not use third-party advertising and does not use analytics events for cross-app tracking or advertising data broker purposes.
Retention and your rights
Local app data remains until you remove it in the app or delete the app, subject to iOS behavior. Purchase records and AI-service request records are retained only as required by the relevant provider and operational or legal needs. Cloudflare describes its website measurement as aggregate and privacy-first.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also complain to a competent supervisory authority. In North Rhine-Westphalia, this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia.
Children
The app and website are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the website.
Changes
We may update this notice when the app, website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The current revision date is shown above.
